MINUTES - CALLED COUNCIL METNG-TAURSDAT,UNEL,03-GOP.M.  LOCATION: ALAMO CITY HALL  IN ATTENDANCE: Mayor, Pam Lee, Patricia Woodard, Bobby Cox, Steve. Jones, Dondrea Geter  (Phone), Laura Brownley and City Manager, Jeff Floyd. Calll Meeting to Order - Lee called to order @ 6:02 pm.  1. Invocation - Jeff Floyd Pledge of Allegiance  2. Approve. Agenda - Brownly made a motion to approve,Jones, unanimously approved.  NEW BUSINESS  Construction Contract for New City Hall - Floyd noted the contract will be explained by Clark, City Attorney. Clark stated it was a good contract. He went over areas of concern and payment arrangements in the contract. He covered provisions and liability clauses. Allowances were discussed. Clark asked if there had been a schedule for that. He concluded with he liked the contract, and it was standard for this business. Woodard stated it would be better to have the contract completed prior to work starting. The timing needs to coincide with the completed contract. Clark agreed that we need to sign off upon completion. Once completed we will resort to Clark and Fred Dean, the architect. Woodard made a motion to accept the contract upon completion, Jones 2nd, Brownley and Geter approved, Cox opposed.
