Financial Reports -1 reports attached. Lott made the motion to accept the report, Geter 2nd, 7. City Hall Update - Floyd stated that the architect has sent a couple of pictures of what the face oft the buildings would look like. Still waiting on the construction drawings oft the buildings. Would like toj put a roofon it but believes we will need the structural engineers 8. Old Rec. Dept. Update - Floyd stated that al bigger pavilion has been put in place and grills are up. Has had a couple of contractors come to give bids for the roof and fixing of eaves on the concession stand. One was Chris Couch $4,223.98 and the other was. Byron Brady at $9,028.63. Floyd also got aj price of $5,370.89 from Secure Georgia for cameras at the rec department. All the city will have to supply is the power source and networking. Councilman Jones asked about a fence. Floyd stated that he knows the existing white fence is going to have to be replaced and fence price right now without knowing the measurement is about $25 ar running foot. So, replacing the white fence and running iti in the front and around the pavilion area is about 2,000 running foot which will be about $50,000. Geter also stated that him and Floyd has thought about putting a swing gate, like what's at the Elementary School, in the entrance and exit ofthe rec department to save: some $ on the fencing. drawings toj put out for bids. 9. 2Alley Paving's- There were 2 bids put in. One from Hooks Construction for $12,000 for the alley behind the City Hall and $9,800: for the alley on Pearl St behind the high school with at total of $21,800. The 2nd bid was from McClendon Enterprises for $24,139.29 for the alley behind the City Hall and $ 20,179.59 for the alley on Pearl St. behind the high school with a total of$44,318.88. Lott made a motion, to go with Hooks bid, Geter 2nd, unanimously approved. NEW BUSINESS 10. Digital Ally Contract = copy of contract is attached. Contract is for new body cameras for the officers. R. Clark has approved the contract. Geter made the motion to approve the contract, Lewis 2nd, unanimously approved. 11. City Manager Report- = report attached. 12. Fire Report = no report was given. 4th ofJuly celebration will be Saturday, June 25, 2022, starting at 2:00 pm. 13. Police Report - report attached. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Karen Zanders - asked where the camera. system for the rec department will be housed at? Floyd stated that will be around the rec department, but it willl be able to be monitored through Buddy Adams - has a concern on how high the speed bumps are around his house. Floyd will get them replaced with some littie bit lower ones. Also, he noticed that there are a lot of vehicles running and some flying through the stop sign on N. Broad St near his house. Mr. Adams believes that there needs to be some: speed bumps placed near the curve near Ray White's house to maybe help control the speed of vehicles.
