He had reached out to Lentile Construction, Patterson Engineering and Roberts Civil Engineering. The only quote that was received was from Roberts Civil Engineering and was $68,00 just for the architectural part. Floyd is going tor reach out to another vendor to get another quote. NEW BUSINESS 9. American Rescue Plan - CM: Floyd stated that all the paperwork and application has been submitted and accepted. Will wait on deposit of first part. 10. Swear in PD ChiefZanders- - CM: Floyd performed swearing in of Chief Zanders. Copy with minutes. 11. City Manager Report = report is attached. 12. Fire Report - report is attached. 13. Police Report - Report attached for the month of] May. Zanders proposed ai few items to council that is needed for the PD: tint reader tol help identify tint that could be too dark for highway, Digital radios, shotgun racks for vehicles and Courtware contract. Lott made the motion for Chief Zanders to purchase the requested equipment and for it tol be paid out of the School Safety Program except for the Courtware contract, Lewis 2nd, unanimously approved. Lott made a motion to approve the Courtware contract pending city attorney R. 14. Meeting Order - Woodard was curious ift there was something in place that says we must have the meeting in the order it is now. City Clerk stated that there was not to her acknowledge. Woodard is suggesting having the Executive Session at the beginning of the meeting because now the citizens present for the meeting have left once the executive session is over. She strongly believes that the citizens need to be aware of what is voted on during executive session. 15. Veteran Memorial in flower garden - Lott expressed his thoughts of adding more Wheeler Clark approval, Woodard 2nd, unanimously approved. Co. veterans to the monument in the flower garden. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: No public participation EXECUTIVE SESSION (employee matters) = went into executive session 7:06 pm with Lewis making the motion, Geter 2nd, unanimously approved. Woodard would take minutes from Executive session. Following executive session, the following was voted: All part-time employees will make at least $10.00/hr. and evaluation will be done by the City Administrator. Lott made the motion, Jones 2nd, unanimously Raises will be based on the scores of the evaluation. 85 or higher - 5% raise, 80-84-3 3% raise, below 80 - 1.5% for now. Woodard made the motion to approve and make it retroactive back to 1/1/21, Lott 2nd, unanimously approved. Woodard made motion for City Clerk Carrillo to receive 3% and Utility Clerk Woodard made motion that when the City Managers evaluation is complete to approved. Raises to be effective on next payroll. Burkhalter 5%, Lott 2nd, unanimously approved. based on the same scale, Jones 2nd, unanimously approved. Meeting adjourned at 7:57 PM with Lott making the motion, Lewis 2nd, unanimously approved.
