Call Meeting to Order - Mayor Lee called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm 2. Invocation - Jeffrey Floyd 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Approve Agenda - Woodardo made a motion to approve the agenda, Geter 2nd, unanimously approved. OLD BUSINESS 5. Broadband Grant: Woodard spoke about her decision Steven Pollard - Questioned companies about service Culture said $55 for everyone for ACP Geter asked if GTC provide from any other providers? o GTC stated no. Lott asked about service Kristen Mincey talked about Glenwood service Johnny Moore - asked about service ) GTC explained service Woodard asked how: much does someone. need? Steve Pollard asked what you can get from the service Woodard asked about service GTC said $ 99.95 or another package for $ 89.95 with additional $30 offi forA ACP Culture stated that they are partnered with Workforce Development, and they GTC stated that there is more fiber to do and are 1500 ft from office in Glenwood. GTC stated that they are waiting on letters from Alamo and Rick Allen. provide training and community support. Geter asked are you doing more fiber? Getera asked ift there were any post planning? Culture stated the letters may carry weight. GTC talked about grant and plans to build and continuing Lott asked where would Culture Wireless support come from? Culture responded they plan on putting services in place. Glenwood responded that they have hard people inj place Acitizen asked ifs services will be provided in rural areas? Culture - Jerome Howard - Alamo do something different. Build any solution in Alamo Culture and GTC both stated YES Woodard asked ift two letters would hurt the grant? GTC stated no it will not hurt it's a win-win Culture Wireless stated that it would add to their support. GTC stated one winning person for grant Citizen asked about services. GTC stated they will provide as they go. Cox asked where GTC was laying fiber? Cox asked GTC about their support letters o GTC responded they have multiple letters. Jones asked sO it's copper to fiber. GTC: stated that fiber is better than copper. GTC responded 1500 ft from city limits on Old Glenwood Rd. Jones made the motion to go with GTC, Cox 2nd, Lewis, Lott, Woodard and Geter opposed. Woodard made the motion to go with Culture Wireless, Geter 2nd, Lewis (written response), and Lott approved. Jones and Cox opposed. Culture Wireless awarded letter by majority vote. Meeting adjourned at 7:00 PM with Geter making the motion, Lott 2nd, unanimously approved.
