MINUTES: - CALLED COUNCIL MEETING-TUESDAY, JUNE 6, 2023 - 6:00 P.M.  LOCATION: ALAMO CITY HALL  IN ATTENDANCE: Mayor, Pam Lee, Patricia Woodard, Bobby Cox, Steve. Jones, Dondrea Geter, Laura  Brownley and City Manager,. Jeff Floyd.  Calll Meeting to Order - Lee called to order @ 6:02 pm.  1. Invocation - Jeff Floyd  2. Approve Agenda -) Brownly made a motion to approve, Jones 2nd, unanimously  approved. NEW BUSINESS  3. Eastside Park Grant - Geter commended the Council for their support and hard work on obtaining the two-millon-dollar grant awarded to the City of Alamo. He informed the body  oft the four items needed to implement this award:  1. Grant Terms Agreement 2. Email Portal per Cares Established 3. Sign W-9 4. Finalize. Submission 90 Day Deadline  Geter, Floyd and Lowe (Heart of Georgia Rep) all agreed that we. shouid utilize the services of an Architect or Civil Engineer to lead this project. It should be advertised in the Local Paper and solicited through the appropriate channels to obtain bids per the scope of the grant. Geter motioned and Brownley second to have Heart of Georgia Rep Lowe, get on the procurement registry for 30-day advertisement for an Architect or Civil Engineer.
