LOCATION: ALAMO COMMUNITY CENTER IN ATTENDANCE: Mayor Pamela Lee, Bobby Cox, Dondrea Geter (Zoom), Steve. Jones, Thomas Lott, and Patricia Woodard ABSENT: Harry Lewis (Surgery) EXECUTIVE SESSION (employee matters) = started executive session 5:30 pm. Woodard would take minutes from Executive session. No votes were taken during executive session. Called to order by Mayor Lee at 6:08 pm. 1. Invocation -. Jeffrey Floyd 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Approve Minutes from 2/21 Regular Meeting & 3/14 Called Meeting - Jones made a motion to approve both minutes, Geter 2nd, unanimously approved. 4. Approve Agenda - Lott made the motion to approve the agenda, Jones 2nd, unanimously approved. 5. Financial Reports - reports attached. Woodard made the motion to accept the report with addition that a copy of voided checks is attached, Jones 2nd, unanimously approved. OLD] BUSINESS 6. Old Rec. Dept. Update - ad has been put in the paper looking for bids for the different phases. Floyd still has to do measurement and quote for fencing. Once bids are received, they 7. City Hall - the ASAP committee met and challenged Floyd to get an estimated cost on what 8. LMIG 2022 bids - The only bid was: from Hook's Construction. The street for LMIG is on First Ave from 280 to Steward, which is 1070 ftx x 21ft, and for the striping, the bid is for $30,500. Lott made the motion to accept the bid for paving 280 to Steward, Cox 2nd, unanimously approved. There will be some $ left over from the LMIG and Floyd suggested paving the rest of First Ave, from Steward to 126. Geter made the motion to go ahead and Floyd stated that it was discussed last month about the repairs at the end of] Hartley Rd. (dirt road beside the cemetery). Floyd talked to Hooks, and they think it will be better going to the right of the fire hydrant. Hooks stated that he would doi it for $4,000i ift the city provides the dirt. Floyd would talk to Hooks on aj price ifh he supplied the dirt. will be presented to council for approval. it would cost to build the city hall. Seasonal Part-time employees - Floyd addressed to council that he would like tol hire 2 part time employees at $10/hr. to divide 40/hrs. a week tol help for the season.
