appnvw! Fs  MINUTES- - CALLED COUNCIL MEETING- MONDAY, MAY1, 2023 - 6:00 P.M.  LOCATION: ALAMO CITY HALL  INA ATTENDANCE: Mayor, Pam Lee, Patricia Woodard, Bobby Cox, Steve. Jones, Dondrea Geter, City  Manager, Jeff Floyd and City Clerk, Marie Carrillo.  ABSENT: Harry Lewis  Calll Meeting to Order - Lee called to order @ 6:01 pm.  1. Invocation - Jeff Floyd Pledge of Allegiance  2. Approve Agenda -Floyd added Storm Drainage (#5). Brownley made a motion to approve  the agenda with the additions, Geter 2m, unanimously approved.  OLD] BUSINESS  3. New City Hall Bids - received 3 seal bids: (1) Copper Construction for $1,141,268; (2) Garbutt Construction for $1,084,206 and: ()Pro-Construction for $968,111.. Jones made a motion to table accepting a bid until the council has a work session to talk to the contractors and get more information, Brownley 2nd, unanimously approved.  NEW BUSINESS  4. Code. Enforcement Officer - LeKitte Robinson - does code enforcement for several other cities. Will do it for $250/day (8 hrs.) which includes her mileage and will do it as needed. Brownley made a motion to approve. LeKitte, Woodard 2nd, unanimously approved. 5. Storm Drainage - having issues on Cherry Dr with water during heavy rain. The Sledge property is 46" below the road sO there is not much the city can do to help with the water flowing. Can dig out the ditch on the other side of the road and see ift that will help but doesn'tsee where it could help that much. Floyd talked to Hooks and they gave a quote of $2,000, but the city has to supply the pipe. Woodard would like to get another bid. Geter made a motion to table until next meeting w/ another bid, Brownley 2nd, unanimously Meeting adjourned at 6:55 PM with Woodard making the motion, Brownley 2nd, unanimously  Floyd will work with R.
