June 11, 2024  Work Session Meeting City of Adairsville 116 Public Sq Adairsville, Ga 30103  MINUTES  Present for the meeting: Mayor Kenneth Carson Councilmember Alan Towe Councilmember: Brandey Jenkins Absent for the meeting: Mayor Pro Tem Lee Castro Councilmember Erwin Holcomb  Also Present: Community Development Director, Brady Hammonds; Police Chief,  Mike Jones; Finance Director, Jordan Redd; City Clerk, Lisa Donald Call to Order - Mayor Carson called the meeting to order at 7:03 P.M.  Ap presentation was made to recognize the efforts at Hayes Park Rain Garden, located between College St and Park St for being the recipient of the Greenspace Guardians award at the 2024 Keep Georgia Beautiful conference in May. Susan Gilmore and Brady Hammonds represented the City of Adairsville at the Conference.  Approve Agenda  Councilmember Jenkins made motion to approve agenda Councilmember Towe seconded the motion to approve agenda. MOTION TO REJECT ALL BIDS for the previously advertised RFP for Roofing B. MOTION TO AUTHORIZE the City Manager to enter into an Agreement with Caliber Construction in the amount of $35,600 for roof replacement at 102 Public  Project for 102 Public Square.  Square. Agenda Item #9  MOTION TO AUTHORIZE the City Manager to enter into an Agreement with Brown and  Brown for Health Benefits Broker Services.
