Agenda Item #10 MOTION TO AUTHORIZE the City Manager to enter into Agreements for Renovations/Services for the Adairsville Senior & Community Center within the Project Budget included in the 2024 Adopted Budget. Agenda Item # 11 A. MOTION TO APPROVE Waste Pro of Georgia as the provider of Solid Waste Residential and Commercial Collections Services with the City of Adairsville fora a B. January9 9, 2024 Mayor Pro Tem Castro asked if Waste Pro will provide door service to citizens who need it, as Republic has done in the past. Mr. Castro also asked where the company would Pam Madison said Waste Pro will continue to have door pickup and return for citizens that need it. Jerry Harrison of Waste Pro said the trucks will be kept in Jasper and he Councilmember Towe asked if the days and hours for pickup have been discussed. Mrs. Madison said yes the dates and times have been set with the potential of a second pickup date in the future if needed to accommodate the City's population growth. Mayor Carson asked if Waste Pro will clean up spills from overflow containers. Mr. Harrison said they will clean up the spills and advised the Council that the trucks have six cameras on them and if there are spills, they review the footage and adjust as needed. Mayor Carson also asked what the projected price increases is. Mrs. Madison answered Citzen, Hattie Adams asked if the truck misses a pickup, will they come back to empty the trash. Mr. Harrison said if they received notification prior to 1:00 p.m. they will return to empty the trash. Citizen, Tina Spellman asked as a business owner if she needs to coordinate the removal of Republic's dumpster to make space for Waste Pro's dumpster. Mr. Harrison answered they will coordinate that by removing Republic's dumpster and taking it to a predetermined drop site. keep the trucks. hopes to have a site here in the future. itis tied to Consumer Price Index.
