CALLTO ORDER/ROLL CALL/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - 7:00 PM Mayor Tollefson called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers. Mayor Tollefson, Deputy Mayor Peltier and Councilmembers Blossom, Medina, Roth, Scott, and Townsend 2. AGENDAI APPROVAL OR MODIFICATION/CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURE Mayor Tollefson proposed switching the order ofi items 6(A) and 6(B). Councilmember Scott moved and Deputy Mayor Peltier seconded to accept the agenda as modified. The motion carried unanimously, 7-0. were present. Everyone stood fori the Pledge of Allegiance. There were no conflicts of interest disclosed. 3. City Manager Schulze introduced the report, and Council discussed it. Public Comment housing. Patti Dusbabek spoke against the sale and development oft the property. Dianne Stever thanked Council for the comprehensive report. Cindy Anderson asked Council to reconsider developing the site. MOTION: Imove to accept the Suzuki Ecological Report and the recommendations in that report and that we authorize and direct our City Manager to proceed with negotiations toward an Exclusive Negotiated Agreement between the City of Bainbridge Island and Olympic Property Group for City Council Scott/Roth: The motion was amended by Councilmember Scott to include the words "follow direction in the Comprehensive Plan in the course oft those negotiations." Councilmember Roth, liaison to the Bainbridge Island senior/Communty Center, reported that the group Mayor Peltier has a new Executive Director, Reed Price. 11. Councimember Roth noted that poets are invited to share a poem at the start of City Council meetings for Councimember Blossom inquired about public hearing procedures and asked that Council consider Planning Commission's role in project review.
