Public Comment .D. Stahl spoke against the ordinance. Charlie Wenzlau expressed concerns about the impact on affordable housing. Lisa Neal spoke about water conservation issues. Robert Dashiell commented on pruning regulations. Jonathan Davis recommended alternatives. Piper Thomburgh expressed concerns about the ordinance. Julie Smith spoke in favor oft the ordinance. Discuss Next Steps for Business/ndustrial Regulations, AB 17-127 = Planning 7:44 PM Senior Planner Sutton introduced the agenda item. Council's consensus was for staff to move forward with and ordinance. Public Comment Piper Thomburgh thanked Council for their support oft the update. Terry McGuire asked about the proposed changes. B. Suzuki Development Project, AB 14-118-E Executive 8:07 PM City Manager Schulze introduced Jon Rose of Olympic Property Group who provided a presentation on the proposed development. Public Comment Herb Hethcote spoke in favor oft the project and offered suggestions. Lisa Neal asked for additional information on the project. Patti Dusbabek spoke about the testing of wetlands. MOTION: Imove to direct our City Manager to engage with Olympic Property Group to develop an agreement for consideration by the City Council to address the environmental issues that are outlined in the proposal and include ar minimum of 50% and aspire to at least 60% income-qualfied affordable housing. Discuss Council Policy Regarding Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA) as Applied to Citizen Mayor Tollefson introduced the agenda item.
