The recording system was turned off and a notice was posted on the door to the Council Chamber. The executive session adjourned at' 7:00 p.m. No action was taken, Deputy Mayor Medina called the study session to order at 7:02 p.m, with Councilmembers Townsend, Peltier, Roth, Scott, Blossom and" Tollefson in attendance. Charles Schmid, Association ofl Bainbridge Communities, wanted tol be sure that a public participation piece is in included in the City Manager Schulze explained the reason for the added agenda item which was an email from former City Attorney Marshall to Councilmember Peltier regarding the condominizaiton of ADU's. PROCESS FOR SELECTING POLICE FACILITY SITE, AB 14-008- - CITY COUNCIL Members oft the City Council have requested information about the process and criteria that will be used to select as site for the new police facility. At least two previous studies have been conducted in the past (Webber 2006 and) Mackenzie 2015) and both oft those studies involved site selection criteria. Thel Mackenzie study used a site selection matrix from the International Association of Chiefs ofPolice (IACP) Facility Planning Guidelines. The Guidelines "incorporate the expertise of police chiefs, police facility project managers, architects, and consultants andi identifies the critical project management steps involved in successful planning." The: memorandum included in the agenda packet provides more information about the site selection criteria.
