Special Called Meeting Minutes  May 18, 2023  Mayor James Carter called to order the special called meeting oft the Woodland City Council at  5:371 PM on May 18, 2023, at the Woodland City Hall.  II. Roll call  The following persons were in attendance: Mayor. James Carter, Mayor Pro Tem Ebonye Holt, Councilman T.L. Carter, Councilwoman Allison Owens, City Clerk Allissa Gresham, Municipal Clerk Cynthia Powell, and Councilman Jeffery Mitchell. Ian Perry ofl River Valley  Regional Commission arrived late. III. Approval of Agenda  Councilwoman Owens made a motion to approve the agenda. Councilman Carter seconded.  All approved. Motion carried.  IV. New Business  a) Clerk Gresham distributed the Resolution Authorizing thel Filing of an Application with the Georgia Department of Community. Affairs for the CDBG Program and the Resolution. Authorizing the Obligation of $33,000 from the City's Funds for the Purpose ofMatch and Leverage fora a FY 2023 CDBG Grant. Councilwoman Owens made ai motion to accept both resolutions andl have Mayor Carter and Clerk Gresham sign them. Councilman Mitchell seconded. All approved. Motion carried.  V. Adjournment Motion carried.  Councilman Mitchell made a motion to adjourn. Councilwoman Owens seconded. All approved.  Mayor James Carter adjourned the meeting at 5:481 PM.  Minutes Submitted.
