We are replacing customer service lines, and the contractor isi issuing a warranty on1 those service lines. The main objective ist to replace an old water main and sewer line with new lines that will provide better service to residents, while: moving the water meters to the right of way. No public comments were made. F1 Town Hall Meeting: CDBG Water & Sewer System Updates Thursday, June 27,2024 City of Thomaston The CDBG project currently underway includes homes north of 12th Ave along B StNE,ESt, and FSt. Similar improvements in East Silvertown Village are planned for future CDBG projects. At no cost to the property owner, this project includes the installation of: Anew 6"water main to replace the existing 2" and 2.5"water mains; 1year warranty on newly installed service lines from contractor Anewwater: service line for each home; and Anew sewer service line for each home. Toinitiate thesei improvements on private property (outside of cityright-of-way, the property owner must complete a Right-of-Entry (ROE). Not all property owners have completed this requirement. The map below shows ROE completion status as of June 24, 2024. The deadline to complete al Right-of-Entry is Wedneadm,wy1.202 Failure to submit a ROE by this deadline will result in the home not being connected to the newwater main, thereby losing access to water.
