WORK SESSION OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL CITY OF SNELLVILLE, GEORGIA MONDAY,ULY2Z.2V4  Present: Mayor Barbara Bender, Mayor Pro Tem Tod Warner, Council Members Norman A. Carter Jr., Kerry Hetherington, Cristy Lenski, and Gretchen Schulz. Also present City Attorney Chuck Ross with Powell and Edwards, City Manager Matthew Pepper, Assistant City Manager Mercy Montgomery, Captain Zach Spahr, Planning and Development Director Jason Thompson, Public Works Director David Mitchell, Parks and Recreation Director Lisa Platt, Public  Information Officer Brian Arrington, and City Clerk Melisa Arnold. Mayor Bender called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.  CALL TO ORDER  REVIEW REGULAR BUSINESS MEETINGS AND PUBLIC HEARING AGENDA Mayor and Council reviewed the public hearing and regular meeting agenda. During the review ofRZ24-01 Council Member Schulz recused herself at 6:33 p.m. and returned Mayor Bender asked STAT Executive Director Kelly McAloon to talk about the schedule addition. Ms. McAloon explained that State Representative Ray Martinez asked about including a Latino Fest in her schedule. She said it would be a good compliment to the Latino concert planned in  ITEMS  when discussion ended at 6:35 p.m.  September SO she brought the request before Mayor and Council. EXECUTIVE SESSION  None None  Mayor Bender announced that a lease has been signed with Crooked Can Brewery for the Market City Manager Pepper gave an update on projects in the Towne Center and the City.
