for  SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL CITY OF SNELLVILLE, GEORGIA MONDAY,ULY22,2024  Present: Mayor Barbara Bender, Mayor Pro Tem Tod Warner, Council Members Norman A. Carter Jr., Cristy Lenski, and Gretchen Schulz. (Council Member Kerry Hetherington was absent.) Also present City Manager Matthew Pepper, Assistant City Manager Mercy Montgomery, Public Information Officer Brian Arrington, IT Administration Erika Fleeman and  City Clerk Melisa Arnold. CallTo Order  Mayor Bender called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m.  Mayor Bender explained the purpose oft the meeting was to provide citizens the opportunity to speak about the 2024 Millage Rate. She advised it has been 41 mills for the past two years, down Provide Citizens the Opportunity to Submit Written and Oral Comments on the Proposed  from 4.588 mills three years ago. 2024 Millage Rate Mayor Bender opened the floor toj public comment. No one came forward to speak. Mayor Bender closed public comment.  Adjournment  Council Member Carter made a motion to adjourn, 2nd by Mayor Pro Tem Warner; voted 5in favor and 0 opposed, motion approved.
