Also present City Attorney Chuck Ross with Powell and Edwards, City Manager Matthew Pepper, Assistant City Manager Mercy Montgomery, Chief Greg Perry, Planning and Development Director Jason Thompson, Public Works Director David Mitchell, Public Information Officer Brian Arrington, IT Administrator Erika Fleeman and City Clerk Melisa Arnold. Since Mayor Bender was absent, Mayor Pro Tem Warner chaired the meeting. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Pro Tem Warner called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. REVIEW REGULAR BUSINESS MEETINGS AND PUBLIC HEARING AGENDA ITEMS The agenda was reviewed and discussed. REVIEW CORRESPONDENCE CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT None City Attorney Ross gave an update on several property purchases and the State Court case involving the lottery for the liquor store license. He advised that an Executive Session would need tol be called as well. DISCUSSION ITEMS Update of Ongoing Projects |Bender] City Manager Pepper gave an update on the Towne Center. Hea advised that Crooked Can Brewery Assistant City Manager Montgomery reported on her meeting with MidCast to start planning City Manager Pepper finished his update on other projects that are taking place around the City. The meeting was closed at 6:59j p.m. The meeting reconvened at 7:07 p.m. City Attorney Ross asked that Council amend the Regular Meeting Agenda to add approval ofthe settlement agreement between former City Manager Russell Treadway and the City of Snellville. Mayor Pro Tem Warner advised that they would amend the agenda to addi it as New Business item "d".
