Discussion County Wide Fire Protection Plan & Contract- Commissioner Stevens, Mr. Hodges and Mr. Darby were present. Mr. Hodges and Mr. Darby explained the County Wide Fire Protection Plan and how the contract would work. The tanker that the city has would benefit more in the unincorporated areas. It doesn't help or hurt the residents within the city because fire hydrants are available. Mr. Hodges stated SPLOST willl be aj joint effort. Mr. Darby stated that he is on call 24 hours per day.
