Mr. Brian Darby, County Fire Chief presented Mayor Clancy with al list oft the equipment and date ofl last service. Mr. Hodges stated that there are two parts to the Fire Plan. Every fire department has been assigned vehicles and equipment that was purchased with SPLOST funds. Each municipality will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep oft their equipment. In the manned stations, part time employees will work seven days a week only in the day time. These are the plans for a year. The County has given notice to the City ofMidway that they will: nol longer contract for services in the unincorporated areas.
