The department will have range training on May 23, 2018, the time to be announced at a later date. The Mayor and Council will receive the date and time by email from the chief. She also stated that her department isi ini need ofa another police officer to allow the existing officers to take their vacations. Fire Department - The Mayor will be attending a meeting with the commissioners later on this Utility Department - Mrs. Lee stated that all is going well. She has quotes on upgrading the software for the water system. She's getting quotes on the fence that is needed around the water tower for security purposes. She has a 60 days deadline from March 15th. The Mayori is getting quotes on maintenance on the lift stations. This will be revisited on May 14, 2018. Drainage Issues Priority List The Mayor and Council started making a list oft the drainage Ditches to include the following: Hunters Ridge, Arlen Oaks, Hickory Hill, Edgewater, Marie Street, Dannee and Nell a ditch and pipe, Clancy Lane, Gloucester pond, patches on street, Lake Gale Road, Butler Street near the bank. Mayor Clancy also stated that Coastal Sites Services is waiting on the city to get authorization from Mr. Woods to repair Butler Street.
