Official Minutes ofthe Midway City Council Special Call Meeting January 31,2018 The Midway City Council held a Special Call Meeting on January 31,2 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Midway Municipal Courtroom at the Midway Police Department located at 10490 E. Oglethorpe Hwy. The Officials Attendance: Levern Clancy, Jr., Mayor; Dr. Clemontine F. Washington, Mayor Pro-Tem; Catherine Melice Gerace, Councilmember; T. Gerald Lee, Councilmember and Henry O. Stevens, Jr., meeting was called to order by the Honorable Mayor, Levern Clancy,Jr.. Councilmember. Staff: Lynette G. Cook-Osborne, City Clerk and Timothy Mark Rich, Police Sergeant. Invocation was given by Mayor Pro-Tem Washington. Pledge of Allegiances to the United States Flag was led by Councilmember Gerace. Approval of the January 31, 2018 Agenda - Councilmember Gerace made the motion to approve the Special Call Meeting January 31, 2018 agenda. Councilmember Stevens seconded the motion. The Executive Session - Mayor Pro-Tem Washington made the motion to close the Special Call Meeting and enter the Executive Session to discuss personnel at 6:04 p.m. Councilmember Lee seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Mayor Pro-Tem Washington made the motion to close Executive Session at 6:20 p.m. and return to the Special Call Meeting. Councilmember Stevens seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. The City Clerk was instructed to email a copy oft the agreement for the City Attorney to thel Mayor and Council. Announcements - Mayor Clancy announced that he would like the Midway City Councilmembers to volunteer for the Midway Day Festival, or appointments will be made at the February 12,2018 regular monthly meeting.
