Dooly St. Montezuma, GA 31063  REGULAR MEETING OF THE MONTEZUMA CITY COUNCIL  CALLTO ORDER: INVOCATION:  Mayor Nealie Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Attendees stood as Mayor Nealie Johnson led in prayer, then said the  "Pledge of Allegiance" in unison.  PRESENT:  Mayor Nealie Johnson; Council Members: Mayor Pro Tempore Daniel Porter, Cleveland Hobbs, Howard Brown, Marie Tooks, and Charles Ivey; City Attorney, Jon Coogle; City Manager, Mel Fulghom; City Clerk/Administrator, Jennifer McCarthy; Police Chief Eric Finch; Fire Chief Roy Yoder; W &SLine Maintenance Chief, Lonnie Shaw; W/WW Plants Chief, Terry Cross; Public Works Chief, Tim Goodman Council Member Walter Felton; Economic evelopment/Ioursm  ABSENT:  Coordinator, Angie Peaster  CITIZEN COMMENTS  CITIZEN #1: Marvis Brown commented that Asbury St (near Drumwright St.) should be Responses: Public Works Chief, Tim Goodman responded that plans are currently in place to  considered for resurfacing. fill-in and resurface at this location.  CONSENT AGENDA  MOTION#1 To accept all issues on the consent agenda, as follows, collectively:  To Approve minutes of regular council meeting of June 11, 2024, as  received by all members.    To Ratify Phone Poll of June 14, 2024, to appoint Montezuma representatives of the Montezuma Downtown Development Authority for the following terms: Angie Peaster, Linda Barfield, & Taylor Stephens for a period of 6 years. Austin Bradley, Vic Clark, & Jess Bernhardt for a period of 4 years. Ondrea Zink and Page Thornton for a period ofz 2 years. Each member has met the qualifications to serve on the Montezuma DDA according to the City of Montezuma Ordinance. (A copy is attached to and made part of these minutes.
