Compassion Church Sign Permit Application - LCPC recommendation is approval. Councilmember Gerace made the motion to approve the Compassion Church Sign Permit. Councilmember Lee seconded the motion. The motion passed by a vote- of three (3) to one (1). Councilmember Gerace, Councilmember Lee and Councilmember Stevens voted for the motion. B. American Legion Solicitor for Charitable Purpose Permit - LCPC recommendation is approval. Councilmember Gerace made the motion to approve the American Legion Solicitor for Charitable Purpose Permit. Councilmember Lee seconded the motion. The motion passed C. Rear Parking Area Surface - Mr. Nadji present the City Council with a copy of the City ordinance on parking areas. He stated that the parking at the new city hall could not be gravel. It was the consensus ofthe City Council to bei incompliance with the city ordinance.  Mayor Pro-Tem Washington voted against the motion.  unanimously.  Action Items -  A. Meter Reading System Upgrade - Mayor Pro-Tem Washington made the motion to approve the Meter Reading System Upgrade to be compatible with Windows 10. This will be onsite training and unlimited support. Councilmember Lee seconded the motion. The motion passed B. Flow Meter Project - Due to differences of opinions the Mayor will visit with other sales representatives at the GMA Annual Conference and bring additional information back to the C.E EOM Operations Proposal - Mayor Pro-Tem Washington made a motion to approve EOM Operations Proposal (Exhibit B) in the amount of$ $ 22,065.17. Councilmember Lee seconded the motion. The motion passed by a vote of three (3) to one (1). Mayor Pro-Tem Washington, Councimember Lee and Councilmember Stevens voted for the motion. Councilmember Gerace D. Generator for the Well-7 This item will be voted on at the. Julyl Regular monthlymeeting. The fencing is being installed as ai maintenance item due to the requirement of EPD. Mrs. Lee received three (3) bids on the installation of 6" privacy fence which was mandated by Environmental Protection Division during the annual inspection. The fence is being placed around the water tank located at 10490 E. Oglethorpe Hwy. The bids were from Hinesville Fence Company $7,652.50, American Fence Company $6,825.00 and Savannah Fence Company $9,125.00. American Fence Company bid was awarded the contract at $6,825.00.  unanimously. Oglethorpe Hwy., Midway, Georgia by the Honorable Mayor, Levern Clancy,Jr. Officials Attendance: Levern Clancy, Jr., Mayor; Clemontine F. Washington, Mayor Pro-Tem; Catherine M. Gerace, Councilmember; T. Gerald Lee, Councilmember; and Henry O. Stevens, Jr.,  Councilmember.  Staff Attendance: Lynette G. Cook- Osborne, City Clerk; Terrell L. Chipp, Sr., Public Works Manager;  Duvale Page, Sr., Police Sergeant and Alan Seifert, LCPC Planner.  Invocation was given byl Mayor Clancy.  Pledge of Allegiance to the United States Flag was led by Councilmember Stevens. Approval of Agenda dated June 11,2018- - Councilmember. Lee made the motion to approve the agenda. The motion passed  Updates- - Mayor Clancy presented the following: City Hall Multi-Complex-  Mr. Judson Bryant has forwarded the required information.  Mandatory Evacuation for the Elderly  o The City will bei responsible for transporting all elderly that signed up, to the Shuman Gym in Hinesville. Ifthey decline and call later they will not be transported. The  Mayor will reserve a van tol be used to transport the elderly.  Alcohol Sales on Sunday  Mayor Clancy stated hel has been approached by citizens that has to leave the city to He's working on getting this ready for the General Ballot in November of2018.  purchase alcohol on Sunday's.  1
