Mayor Jena Sandlin led the invocation. Mayor Jena Sandlin led the pledge.  Mayor Sandlin called for anyone int the audience to speak at1 this time.  Council Michelle Lane made the motion to adopt the FY24 General Fund and Water Operating Budgets. Council Member Oscar Griffith seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously,3-0.  Phase II Water Project-  Council discussed the following amendments to pay outstanding invoices totaling $426,547.25  ARPA $175,566 Grant match SPLOST Roads, Streets and Bridges $135,981.25 SPLOST Administration $50,000 SPLOST Parks and Recreation $65,000  Council discussed options for paying outstanding bills associated with the Phase II Water Project, pending receipt of the SERP letter from EPD. Council Member Michelle Lane made a motion to approve allocating $175,566.00 from ARPA: as the City'sn match for the grantandamending thel FY23SPLOST Budget to reallocate $250,981.25 to Water and Sewer from other projects, as broken down above, to pay outstanding invoices Council heard the first reading for An Ordinance to provide for participation by the City of Lake Park ("'Participating Employer" or" "Employer") in the Georgia Municipal Employees Benefit System (GMEBS) Life and Health Program. The Second reading will take place on January 2, 2024 at the next Regular Council  due. Council Busby Courson seconded the motion. The. motion passed unanimously, 3-0.  Meeting at 6:00 p.m.  1    Councill Busby Courson made the motion to Adjourn, Council Oscar Griffith Seconded the motion.' Thei motion  passed unanimously,3-0.
