Jon Rose spoke about the project and the need for affordable housing. Stuart Grogan, Housing Kitsap, spoke about his financial analysis of the project. Patti Dusbabek expressed her concerns about affordable housing. Richard Blumenthal spoke about sustainable affordable housing. Andrew Myers spoke about his concerns with the agreement. Althea Paulson, Chair oft the. Affordable Housing Task Force, spoke in favor ofr maximizing affordable housing. Lisa Neal spoke in favor of additional legal review. B. Cultural Element Funding Ad Hoc Committee Report, AB 17-103- - City Council 8:23 PM Councilmember Roth introduced the report. Deputy City Manager Smith introduced Management Intern List who provided ap presentation on the updated public art program website. Patti Dusbabek asked for additional recognition for local artists. Ordinance No. 2017-17 Relating to Critical Areas, Repealing Chapter 16.20 and Adopting a New Chapter 16.20 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code, AB 17-135-1 Planning 8:35 PM City Manager Schulze introduced the agenda item and asked Council to set a public hearing in January. Brian Wilkinson asked Council to consider a community wildfire program in drafting the ordinance.
