MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF CITY OF HULL MAYOR AND COUNCIL  August 8, 2024  The meeting was called to order by Mayor John Barber at 7:00 p.m. at Hull Fire Department. Those in attendance in addition tot the Mayor were the Clerk, and council member Mike McElroy council members elect, Paige Phillips and Steven Hollingsworth, and Attorney Love. After the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silent prayer council members elect, Paige The only matter ofbusiness to be conducted other than swearing in oft the newly elected council members was the date for the. August meeting. Council Member, Paige Phillips, had aj previously scheduled vacation for the week of August 19th and would be out oftown. Accordingly, a motion was made by Mike McElroy and seconded by Steven Hollingsworth and unanimously approved that we hold the August meeting of the Hull Mayor and Council at 7:00 p.m. on August 27, 2024, Although no action was taken City Attorney Love asked the Mayor and Council tol be thinking about what changes they may want to consider to the City Charter; Zoning matters; and Intergovernmental Agreements with the County with respect to building permits, etc. The meeting was adjourned after ai motion by Mike McElroy and a second by Paige Phillips.
