James A. Woods  Had meeting with Mr. Ricky. Jackson, ARPA Division of Funding to be discussed at next month meeting.    Highlights in plan for qualification oft the $900,000 housing project and $300,000 roofing project. 1. Resolution to transfer $7,500 from Reserve Line Item for duct cleaning and de-authorize the $7,500 a. Motion- Jimmy Barnes, Motion Seconded- Carla Gowen, All in favor motion carried.  RESOLUTIONS  Expenditure from the SPLOST money for duct cleaning.  2. Discussion- Police Dept. should seek donations, 2/3 of the $15,000 given back is being spent at P.D.  REPORTS FOR THE DEPARTMENTS  Public Works Department-Dir. Vernon Kendrick October-garbage collection over: 1,025 tons. October-Sanitation fees collected $101,725. Installations of Christmas lights are complete. Public Works Community Event, one partner donated $250. Mayor and Council invited to al luncheon at the Landfill. Homecoming event plans for next year are now being made.  Thank you to Mayor and Council for confidence in Public Works Director and the Employees.  Police Department-Chief Evans  Mayor'sClean-up wasa success. Had: some high profile arrests. 8:30 am. Also Blue Santa. Fire Department-captain Alex Pryor Total-66 Service Call Medical calls are up. 2-Motor vehicle accidents. FVSU alarms calls increased. 2-Brush fires 1-Electrical call 1-Elevator stuck with. 2-students. 10-Inspections Fire Drills Activities Training-68-Hours  Code Enforcement is working thank you to the citizens for complaints and comments, this helps. Auto thefts are down, and entering auto is up, Chief advised all to secure belongings lefti in cars. 1,000-Donuts, Coffee and Orange. Juice giveaway at the Police Dept. Thru December 20th, 5:30to  Kids Korner, Al Brighter Choice, Learning Tree Daycare Centers.    Report writing, SOPS, Station Engine, Fire Grounds, Pump Operations, Structure Fire, and Security Firefighter Graduation Friday at: 11: am in Forsyth two employees will graduate. Tourism Board added two members Ms.. Juanita Bryant and Mr. Gary Lee. Mr. Gary Lee asked to be on the Graduates Advisory Board for FVSU.
