Resolution to accept the proposals submitted by Reeves Construction Company to pave a total of16s streets at cost of $894,406.00. Motion by-Councilman- Fred van Hartesveldt. Motion seconded by-Counciwoman Carla Gowen. Withdraw the first motion-Councilman Fred van Hartesveldt. Motion to accept the $842,906.00 for the paving of 10 roads. Motion by Councilman Fred van Hartesveldt. Motion seconded by Councilwoman Carla Gowen. Abstained-Counciman Alonzo Allen. Discussion- Subtract $51,000 from $849,406.00 and not pave the city hall parking lot. Motion passed to approve the resolution with change to $842,906.00 to pave 101 roads. 2. Resolution to purchase a Scotsman air cooled ice maker from Cummings Heating & Air, LLC for $4,062.67. Motion by Councilwoman Juanita Bryant. Motion seconded by Councilman David Morrill. Motion carried resolution passed vote is unanimous. 3. Resolution to purchase 12 NFPA Compliant Stand-Alone SuperPASS 5 Alarms with heat and motion alarm monitoring and 1 Data Download Cable for a total of$6,637.39. (Fire Chief Woodard explained to attendants the SuperPass 5. Alarms.) Motion by Councilman David Morrill. Motion seconded by Councilman Alonzo Allen. Motion carried resolution passed. X. REPORTS FROM THE DEPARTMENTS Economic Development-None reporting. Fire Department 75-Calls for service. 11-Inspections of Businesses. 2-Fire Safety Classes 3-Fire Drills I-Boot Drive 160-Training Hours Police Department Participate ini the 5K Walk at Faith Babies Ministries. Public Works Department Total revenue collected $87,568.26. Total tonnage transported to the landfill 252.49 tons. Cleaned 321 catch basins. decorations. Pothole patching the Street Dept. used 810 Ibs. cold patch citywide. Getting the city prep for FVSU Homecoming this weekend and Thanksgiving and Christmas Cemeteries and parks are maintained. Councilwoman Juanita Bryant ask for gold mums to be planted on State Univ. Dr. Ms. Jacqueline Moore, a new resident in the city, thanked Mr. Johnson and Ms. Walker for their customer serviçe. Work orders-16 broken carts, and 53 to pick up: yard debris. Other maintenance of equipment uses in service. XI. EXECUTIVE SESSION-None. Motion to adjourn the meeting.
