Charles Trammell said ifthel BOC desires, we can draft al letter stating that maintaining this flashing sign would not be the County'sr responsibility. 10.2024-061 Gehl's Nacho Cheese Dispenser Lease Agreement (Pinetree Recreation Center Manager.ared. Ray) The lease agreement with Gehl's would allow us toj place a cheese dispenser in the Pinetree Recreation Center concession stand. The one-time lease fee of$249 includes a3-year service plan and free parts for the life oft the dispenser. 11.2024-062 Auraria Road Culvert Relining LMIG Contract Approval - Townley Construction (Special Projects Manager Recommendation to award the contract for "Relining 120" Pipe" under Aurarial Road with high-strength concrete, Project # Mr. Trammell said they figured out a way to doi this work without shutting the road down, and it will take about three weeks to complete. Emergency Services Professional Development Plan (Matrix) (Emergency Services Director David Wimpy) COUNTY MANAGER County Manager Alan Ours gave an update on the meeting with the Yahoola Creek Reservoir Committee, which was held earlier today. They discussed the -9 acres owned by the County att thei intersection of Rock House Road and Highway 52 Bast, and] how iti might be a suitable location for a parking lot, pavilion, restrooms, and at trailhead to connect to the existing trails. After] he met with surveyor John Gaston and Assistant County Manager Rebecca Mincey, Mr. Ours said a1 more finalized plan would be sent toi the committee for review before it was presented tot the Board of Commissioners. Chairman Dockery said the committee had discussed how there is nothing currently inl Lumpkin County tol honor the Cherokee! heritage, andt they said this might be a good opportunity toi remedy that. They agreed it might be a good idea to work with the Eastern Band of Cherokee to find a way tol honor the Cherokee's historical presence in Lumpkin County.
