Mcintosh County Board of Commissioners Emergency Special Called Meeting Minutes  August 3, 2024 2:30pm  An Emergency Special Called meeting of the Mcintosh County Board of Commissioners was held on Saturday  August 3, 2024 at 2:30pm at the Mcintosh County Emergency Operation Center.  A. INVOCATION AND PLEDGE B. CALL MEETING TO ORDER C.ROLL CALL  Invocation given by County Attorney Ad Poppell and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner Poole. Chairman Karwacki welcomed everyone in attendance and called the meeting to order at 2:34pm. Present: Kate Karwacki, Chairman; William Harrell, Commissioner, and Davis Poole, Commissioner. Also, in attendance were County Manager Patrick Zoucks, County Attorney Ad Poppell, Deputy County Manager Shawn Jordan, and County Clerk Sherrell Davis. Kathleen Russell with the Darien News was also in attendance via  FaceTime Video.  Absent: Vice-Chairman David Stevens and Commissioner Roger Lotson.  D.APPROVE AGENDA Motion carried unanimously. E.NEW BUSINESS: Storm/Hurricane Debby)"  Motion made by Commissioner Poole, seconded by Commissioner Harrell to approve the August 3, 2024 agenda.  1. Consider Resolution 2024-8 "Declaring al Local State of Emergency for Tropical Depression 4 (Potential Tropical EMA Director Poppell gave an update on the storm and County Manager Zoucks explained the resolution. Motion made by Commissioner Poole, seconded by Commissioner Harrell to adopt Resolution 2024-8 declaring a local state of emergency for Tropical Depression 4 (potential Tropical Storm/Hurricane  Debby). Motion carried unanimously.  G. ADJOURNMENT:  With noi further business Chairman Stevens adjourned the meeting at 2:39pm.
