UGA Staff Anna Wrigley Miller provided an overview of Balanced Scorecard and the planning process which encompassed four (4) perspectives: ctizen/stakeholder, financial/budget, internal process, and organizational capacity. There were several interactive group segments which aided in developing a new mission statement and UGA Staff David Tanner continued the group activities with a NACO (National Association of Counties) award-winning vision and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunitiesand" Threats) activity, discussionofcommunications, balanced growth,  invocation offered by Chairman Corbitt.  discussion values and vision setting.  infrastructure, and service delivery. The meeting was called to order at 9:04am followed by an invocation by Chairman County Manger Callanan provided a presentation of various county proposed logos At 9:23am an executive session was held for discussion of personnel, property, and Development Services Director Candler, supported by County Manager Callanan provided specifics fort the Comprehensive Plan associated with the following subjects: Future Land Use Map (FLUM),Zoning Map, Zoning Districts, and State Requirements. Development Services Director Candler continued the discussion on zoning classifications relating to standards/criteria, descriptions, and table of permitted County Manager Callanan detailed commercial corridors and planning board restructuring. Further collaborative discussion included berms and trees.  for each department and service agencies.  pending litigation. The retreat reconvened at 10:24am  uses.
