Town of Williamsport Mayor & Town Council Regular Session Meeting Minutes - June 10, 2024 On June 10, 2024, the Mayor & Town Council for the Town of Williamsport held a Regular Session. Those members of the elected body who were present included Mayor William Green, Assistant Mayor Dennis Grove, Councilman Jim Braswell, Councilman Charles Brown, Councilman Earle Pereschuk, and Councilman Ben Tinsley. Town employees in attendance were Mayor Green called the meeting to order at 4:03pm and asked for ai moment of silence and then Chad Rooney, Town Manager, and Ed Kuczynski, Town Attorney. led the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Green asked if Will Ball was present as a Guest; he was not present. Mayor Green then asked for Reports. There was no report for the Board of] Elections, Board of Zoning Appeals, History & Museum Board, Planning Commission, Land Use, or Legal Counsel. Mayor Green asked for Town Council Reports: Councilman Pereschuk noted he will attend a meeting with Summer Program staff, thel Mayor, and Town Manager...the program is starting very soon; Councilman Brown announced the start of the carnival Wednesday through Saturday; Assistant Mayor Grove nor Councilman Tinsley had a report; Councilman Braswell noted the hanging of the military recognition banners in Byron park and the need for community wide youth Mayor Green noted the completion of painting oft traffic lines as part oft the street project. Mayor Green then presented Ordinance 2024-03 relating to the fiscal year 2025 utility rates. Councilman Tinsley made a motion to approve the ordinance as presented; Councilman Brown Mayor Green then presented Ordinance 2024-04 relating to the fiscal year 2025 budgets. Councilman Tinsley made ai motion to approve the ordinance as presented; Councilman Pereschuk Mayor Green presented Ordinance 2024-05 relating to: modifications ofthe parking, stopping, and standing ordinance. Councilman Tinsley made a motion to approve the ordinance as presented; Mayor Green then presented Ordinance 2024-01 relating to a charter amendment as presented in the evening's public session.
