Town of Williamsport Mayor & Town Council  Work Session Meeting Minutes -] March 11,2024  On) March 4, 2024, the Mayor & Town Council: for the' Town ofWilliamsport held a Work Session. Those members oft the elected body who were present included Mayor William Green, Assistant Mayor Dennis Grove, Councilman Jim Braswell, Councilman Charles Brown, Councilman Earle Pereschuk, Councilman Ben Tinsley, and Councilperson Margaret Yaukey. Town employees in attendance were Chad Rooney, Town Manager, Ed Kuczynski, Town Attorney, and Deputy Mayor Green called the meeting to order at 6:36pm. Mayor Green explained a conceptual plan to annex the area d prompted the Town Attorney to review the process for annexation when itis The Town Attorney outlined the process for annexation through a step-by-step procedural explanation of the first few steps the Mayor and Town Council will need to take to initiate the annexation process. The process, if approved during the Regular Session, would begin with informing the public ofthe' Town'si intent to annex the area, hold public information sessions, send out informational mailings to the properties which would be impacted by the annexation.
