Town of Williamsport Mayor & Town Council Public Hearing Minutes- - June 3,2024  On June 3, 2024, the Mayor & Town Council for the Town of Williamsport held al Public Hearing for the application or funding for sidewalks in designated areas. Those members of the elected body who were present included Mayor William Green, Assistant Mayor Dennis Grove, Councilman Jim Braswell, Councilman Charles Brown, Councilman Earle Pereschuk, and Councilman Ben Tinsley. Town employees in attendance were Chad Rooney, Town Manager, Mayor Green called the meeting to order at 4:02pm and outlined the purpose ofthe public hearing. Mayor Green called forj public comment; Resident Butch Lowery stated hei felt there is a desperate need for sidewalks along North Conococheague Street as is being proposed for the safety of Mayor Green expressed his appreciation fort the comments and seeing as there were no other public Assistant Mayor Grove motioned to close the Public Hearing; Councilman Pereschuk seconded;  and Ed Kuczynski, Town Attorney.  pedestrians who currently walk on the street as to not walk on private property.  comments; requested ai motion to close the Public Hearing.  the meeting adjourned at 4:03pm.
