Council members present were Dennis Kimble, Matt Chance (via Zoom), Chris Weatherly, and Michael Wright. Council member Shane Rossman was absent. Pat Faux, Zoning Administrator/Town Planner; Chris Goettge, The  Faux Group; and Debra Butler, Clerk-Treasurer (via Zoom), were also present. Public Utilities, Principal Permitted Uses, and Section 8 Mixed Residential Service District Subsection 8.3 Supplemental Regulations oft the Land Development Ordinance were introduced at the May 9, 2024, meeting. Mayor Burhans reported that the Public Hearing was posted in the Frederick News Post on May 24 and May 30, 2024. The hearing notice was posted on the website, Facebook, and Town Hall door and emailed Town- wide on May 23, 2024. A link on the agenda directed you to the documents relating to this Ordinance. For the troop to receive their Citizenship in Community merit badge, they needed to attend a local government meeting.  CONTINUED BUSINESS  Introduction to Ordinance 2024-01 An Ordinance Making Appropriations and Adopting the Operating Budgetfor the Town of New Marketfor the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2025 Mayor Burhans introduced Ordinances 2024-01 and 2024-02 and requested a Public Hearing to  be scheduled. For-4(Kimble, Chance, Weatherly, Wright)  FY24 Budget Amendment  Mayor Burhans presented the FY24 Budget amendment. This item was talked about at the last meeting and that Ms. Butler sent out invoices as requested, as well as other supplemental  information. He stated that any monies being distributed in this program must be approved by  Council. LIAISON REPORTS  Mayor Burhans thanked the Special Events Committee for putting on a knock-out South Alley Block party. He received many comments on1 the event, including that every penny the Town spent Councilman Kimble reported on his efforts to stop the foundation leaking at Town Hall.  was worth it.
