Minutes Regular Meeting June 8, 2023  Commissioners Present: Commissioner Paul Sheddan, Mayor Commissioner Steve Remke Commissioner Dan Albers Commissioner Paula Bell City Attorney Ron Mowrey City Manager Zoe A Mansfield Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm. Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Sheddan.  Commissioner Not Present: Commissioner Sharon Rudd  Motion to adopt minutes of May 18, 2023 minutes with corrections made by Commissioner Dan Wayne Conrad and Justin Ford discussed with the board what it would all entail if the city removed the old Wastewater Treatment Plant and the existing water tower at city hall. Justin Ford will look for funding the help the city with cost analysis and other funding. Chris Cayer went over with the board on increasing the water and sewer rates.  Albers. Seconded by Commissioner Steve Remke. All in favor  Motion to adopt resolution increasing water and sewer rates by 50% made by Commissioner Steve Remke. Seconded by Commissioner Paula Bell. Commissioner Steve votes yea. Commissioners Dan Albers, Paula Bell, and Paul Sheddan votes nay. Motion fails. Motion to adopt resolution increasing water and sewer rates by 75% made by Commissioner Dan Albers. Second by Commissioner Paula Bell. Commissioner Paul Sheddan votes yea.  Commissioner Steve Remke votes nay. Motion carries.  Shadrach Hines said that Waterfronts Florida Partnership requested waiver of festival fee for 4th Motion to waive Festival Fee made by Commissioner Paula Bell. Second by Commissioner Dan Motion to adopt Final Reading of of Ordinance #23-02 An Ordinance of the The City of St Marks, Florida, Amending the Code of The City of St Marks, Florida, Article 4 Sewers and Sewage Disposal, Revising Chapter 74-107 (a)(b)(c) Fees, Deposits, Costs and Other Replacing and  of July Fireworks. Albers. All ini favor.    Providing for An Effective Date made by Commissioner Steve Remke. Second by Commissioner Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner Paula Bell.
