CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES JUNE 15, 2022 Pursuant to Public Notice, Mayor Steven Osmer convened a regular meeting of the City Council on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber. Those present were Mayor Steven Osmer, Vice Mayor Jodi Rozycki, Councilmember Mindy Gibson, Councimember David Vigliotti, City Manager Courtney Barker, City Attorney James Beadle and City Clerk Gwen Peirce. She spoke regarding her attendance at the Space Coast Vice Mayor Rozycki spoke regarding her attendance at the Hartmann-Flagg Ceremony, Gail Meredith Seaside Dedication, Space Launch Delta 45 Update, and Colonel Marshal's Retirement Celebration. She spoke regarding Councimember Gibson's Mayor Osmer spoke regarding his attendance ati the State of the Base event and Colonel Marshall's Retirement. He provided background on the incoming Colonel. CITY MANAGER REPORT City Manager Barker spoke regarding 21-day Flag Salute that began today until July 4. She provided an update on the FDOT mid-block crosswalks on SRA1A. She announced thank you cards received regarding the Fire Department. She spoke regarding an upcoming Adopt a Canal Program; and the installation of a 150-foot monopole in FDOT right-of-way in Indian Harbour Beach adjacent to Satellite Beach. She spoke regarding Thea Baker creating doorhangers for fertilizer ban and watering restrictions. She spoke regarding the Gail Meredith Memorial Garden Dedication Ceremony and the new boardwalk at Hightower Beach Park. She announced that she was appointed to the FCCMA Awards and Scholarships Committee for a two-year term. She extended congratulations to Colonel Marshall on his retirement and welcome to Colonel Graham. She spoke regarding a Retired Military Job Fair in the City.
