RESOLUTION NO. 2017-02  A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH PASADENA, FLORIDA, AFFIRMING ELECTION RESULTS FOR THE MARCH 14, 2017 ELECTION OF TWO COMMISSIONERS.  The City Commission of the City of South Pasadena, Florida, at a - regular meeting duly assembled on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2016-15 passed on November 8, 2016 called for a General Election to be held on March 14, 2017 for the WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Canvassing Board, serving as the city's Canvassing Board, canvassed all votes cast at the March 14, 2017 election in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida and the City of South Pasadena and has certified the following  resolves as follows:  purpose of the selection of two Commissioners; and  results of the election:  VOTES CAST 307 764 599 1,670  Dan Calabria Gigi Esposito David Magenheimer Total Votes Cast  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Commission of the City of South Pasadena accepts and affirms such results of the General Election as submitted and certified by said Canvassing BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Gigi Esposito and David Magenheimer, being the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes cast, are elected as Commissioners of the City for the for  Board.  three year terms expiring in 2020.
