CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MEETING  MINUTES FEBRUARY 22, 2022  Pursuant to Public Notice, Mayor Steven Osmer convened a workshop meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at6:30p.m., int the Council Chamber. Those present were Mayor Steven Osmer, Vice Mayor Jodi Rozycki, Councilmember Mindy Gibson, Councilmember Montanaro, Councimember David Vigliotti, City Manager (TIME: 6:30 P.M.) DISCUSSION REGARDING SPECIAL EVENTS PERMITTING City Manager Barker introduced Special Events and Volunteer Coordinator, Ana Padzarak, who presented a PowerPoint presentation on the current special events that occur in the City, including those that are supported and partnered with the City. She explained costs and issues that occur with several events that are coordinated by other organizations, for which the City provides goods, services and locations in-kind. Commander Bert Berrios spoke regarding the golf cart permits and allowable uses for golf carts, specifically crossing A1A. Ms. Padzarak provided an overview of the special permit processes of neighboring cities. City Manager Barker explained that the lack of process has become a problem and spoke regarding the items that need to be decided upon at a future meeting. Discussion ensued on the various items and the Council provided consensus to schedule a Special Meeting on March 15, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. to  Courtney Barker and City Clerk Gwen Peirce.
