CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING  MINUTES APRIL 6, 2022  Pursuant to Public Notice, Mayor Steven Osmer convened a regular meeting of the City Council on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber. Those present were Mayor Steven Osmer, Vice Mayor Jodi Rozycki, Councilmember Mindy Gibson, Councimember Dominick Montanaro, Councilmember David Vigliotti, City Manager Courtney Barker, City Attorney James Beadle and City Clerk Gwen Peirce. CITY MANAGER REPORT  City Manager Barker announced upcoming events, such as the Trash Bash, Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, sunrise Easter services, Coastal Garden Fair and Earth Day Festival, Lion's Club Pancake Breakfast. She spoke regarding thank you notes received for service by the Fire Department, Public Works Department, and City Manager. She announced that Police Chief Jeff Pearson was reappointed by Governor DeSantis to the Criminal Justice Standards Training Commission. She also announced that Sgt. Ron Kinsey has been promoted to Acting Operations Lieutenant. She provided an update on the mural at the racquetball court at DeSoto Park. She expressed appreciation to volunteers on the March 4th work day at Samsons Island. She provided an update on the bald eagle mortalities in the City.
