She spoke regarding thank you notes received for service by the Fire Department, Public Works Department, and City Manager. She announced that Police Chief Jeff Pearson was reappointed by Governor DeSantis to the Criminal Justice Standards Training Commission. She also announced that Sgt. Ron Kinsey has been promoted to Acting Operations Lieutenant. She provided an update on the mural at the racquetball court at DeSoto Park.
