Public Comments - Resident Lori Jacobs thanked the mayor who instructed the Town Administrator to bring in additional sand to secure the berm and tree on her property after Turtle Season. 3. Town Attorney Attorney Doney stated he received an email thatapreliminary injunction on Form 6 was issued. He stated he would read more on the injunction and follow up with Commissioner Reports - Vice Mayor Ciarfella will be attending the Jupiter Inlet District commission meeting asking the district for cost estimates to determine what modifications would be needed to their permit to dump sand on our beaches next time there is a dredging Mayor's Report --Mayor Hocevar read a prepared report (see attached). Mayor Hocevar updated the residents on the Town Manager search. He informed them that they are down the Commission on what it means. event. totwo candidates. They will plan on doing the interviews on Thursday,June: 20th. The first interview would begin at 4:00pm and the second one would begin at 6:00pm. It would allow for some mingling amongst residents and candidates. Mayor Hocevar provided an update on the US 11 Bridge. Mayor Hocevar also polled the commissioners on the North intraƧoastal walkway. Commissioners agreed to wait until the next fiscal year to work on this project. 5. Itis anticipated the questions for these finalists will be reviewed and finalized at a special meeting to be held on. June 18th preceding in person interviews to be held at another public meeting on Int the interest of providing updated information on the configuration and placement ofa potential north walkway intracoastal observation deck, Kimley Horn has provided an estimate of $5000 foran updated artist'srendition of the deck showing the set-back for the waterway and adjacent propertiesa as well as the reduced height and limited visibility of the deck from the waterway. The estimate included June 20th at the Beach Club obtaining drone camera footage and the graphic designer's time. Budget planning for FY2024 has begun. Based on the Town Administrators recommendations, the Town will be pursuing the elimination of the Currently, the storage unit is largely occupied by addition seating from the full size SUV's used by our police force. With the sale of full size SUV's, which will include this additional seating, the remaining Code enforcement has been outsourced to the Village of Tequesta, however recent changes in personnel have limited the effectiveness of their service. The Town Administrator has agreed to take on this additional responsibility and will receive the training necessary for certification.
