Jennings City Council was held on  Monday, March 29, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. via Zoom Video.  A. SPECIAL MEETING  1. Call to Order- The meeting was calledt to order at 5:01 p.m.  2. Roll Call: Council members present: Allan Stichnote, Miranda Jones, Terry Wilson, Jane Brown, Phyllis Anderson, Lorraine Clower; Gary Johnson and Aja Owens absent. Also present: Mayor Yolanda Austin; Deletra Hudson, City Clerk; Sam Alton, City 3. Approval of the Agenda - On the motion by Councilwoman Brown, seconded by Councilman Wilson, the City Council approved the agenda; none opposed. On the motion made by Councilman Jones, seconded by Councilwoman Anderson, the City Council approveda a closed session forj personnel RSM0610,021-3)by thei following roll call vote ofcouncilmembers voting in favor: Stichnote, Jones, Wilson, Brown, Anderson, Clower; Johnson Also present were Mayor Yolanda Austin; Sam Alton, City Attorney; and City Clerk, Deletra  Attorney; and Khianna Ward, Deputy City Clerk.  B. CLOSED SESSION, PERSONNEL (RSMO 610:021-3)  absent, and Owens joined thei meeting at 5:02 p.m.  Hudson.  1. PERSONNEL The following actions were taken:  Hiring oft the Accounting Coordinator  On thei motion madel by Councilwoman Anderson, seconded by Councilman Wilson, the City Council approved thei recommendation from Mayor Austin tol hire Stephanie Crayton ast the Full' Time Accounting Coordinator ini thel Finance Department. The recommendation was approved by thei roll call votes oft the following council members: Stichnote, Jones, Wilson, Brown, Anderson, Owens, Clower; Johnson was absent; none opposing nor abstaining.  b. Termination of Part Time Site Monitor  On thei motion made by Councilwoman Anderson, seconded by Councilman Wilson, the City Council approved thei recommendation from Willie Brandon, Director ofl Recreation Dept, to terminate Jasmine Richardson, part time Sitel Monitor. The recommendation was approved by the roll call votes oft the following council members: Stichnote, Jones, Wilson, Brown, Anderson, Owens, Clower; Johnson was absent; none opposing nor abstaining.
