CALLTOORDER The meeting was called to order by Mayor Wilkins at 4:00 PM. B. INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mitch Wills led the invocation, Commissioner Spratt led the Pledge of Allegiance. She outlined the personnel costs, which encompass three employees and two. janitors. This led to a discussion regarding the budget and the allocation of Ms. Lilly Davenport conducted a thorough line-by-line review of the Building & Code Budget during the presentation. The commission raised inquiries about certain expenses, which prompted a Ms. Lilly Davenport provided a detailed line-by-line review of the Law Enforcement Budget during the presentation. The budget includes a 5% salary increase for deputies. Commissioner Spratt voiced concerns about this raise, noting that City employees are not receiving a comparable increase. This led to a discussion regarding the extent of salary adjustments that the City can Ms. Lilly Davenport reviewed the Roads & Streets Budget line by line during the budget presentation. She indicated that personnel costs in this department are increasing by $160,000, with 25% of this increase attributed to wages. A notable factor is the adjustment in Mitch's allocation to 40% and the addition of an added position.
