Last year's operating millage levy was 1.8504 andi this year'srolled-back rate is 1.7814. Iwould like to recommend we use the roll-back rate for this year. Around the Council Table Mayor - Thank everybody for all the work that was put ini fori the Independence Day event. Despite some heavy rain falling at the beginning of the event it turned out to be nice. We had a very good crowd. All the feedbacklheard from the community: was positive. Hopefully we can continue to build on the eventi in the future. Also, Iwilll be out of town. July 29, 2024- -A August 02, 2024. Ihave Mrs. Bishop Vargas-Iwill be out of town July 28, 2024 - August 01, 2024. Iwas able to attend the 4th of July event. The fireworks were nice the end was a wow factor. One concern was the parking lot. Maybe we: should not allow people to set off their own Mrs. Fleming - The fireworks were great; we had a great turnout. We: still do not have a client for water and sewer yet but the electrical is taking al little bit longer than anticipated. Most of the grant money has been spent and we are starting to use the money from the county to finish up the project. Fairgrounds job the lift station is in Mr. Bass = Fireworks were fantastic and the group that set off the fireworks did great. Update on Mr. Benjamin he did produce an engineer's letter.
