All proceeds are donated. Part oft the proceeds go to West Nassau High School Seniors to assist in expenses for the required attire so they can walk with their graduating class and to Barnabas for the Fit Program, they send backpacks ofi food Also, we will close the roads from Fifth to Booth Street asi in previous years. home to children in need on Fridays. Ms. Shaw Discussion: None Mrs. Gugliuzza called roll Motion Carried X. Around the Council Table Mayor- April 4, 2024, I'had the opportunity to go to the NCEDB Luncheon. It was a packed house with several items covered. The most interesting to me was the presentation from the County that went over the future planning of the county east -west direction and how to eliminate some of the traffic congestion, future roadways, and things like that over the course of the next 25 years. Secondly, this past Saturday evening there was al birthday party for Mr. Blue (Thomas Blue. Jr.) his 90th birthday was located at the Fairgrounds, and p presented him with a proclamation. Lastly, May 2, 2024, at 6:30pm willl be the National Day of Prayer located at Ewing Park. Mrs. Bishop Vargas- None Mrs. Fleming - Absent Mrs. Kirk- None Ms. Shaw- None Mrs. Pearce-None Mrs. Gugluzza-None Mr. Williams- A couple residents inquired about changing the speed limit on Oak Trail from 25 mph to 15 mph. Reba will research it to seei if we can go below 20 mph. Mr. Bass- Fire Department will have to replace the brakes on the tanker.
