No one spoke. Allegiance. Happy New Year. CONSENT AGENDA. Councilmember Chambliss made a motion, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Lemond, to approve Consent Agenda Items 1C through 3C. A vote was cast 4 in favor, 0 against. 1C. Approve minutes for meetings held on November 17,2014. 2C. Approve Ordinance No. 30-14 rezoning approximately 2.33 acres from Residential -2 (R-2) zoning to Light Manufacturing (LM) zoning and amend the Comprehensive Land Use Plan on Lot 2, Block 1 oft the Cornerstone Addition, more commonly known as 610 3C. Approve Resolution No. 61-R-14 approving the engagement of West & Associates, L.L.P., as Bond Counsel and Andrews Kurth, L.L.P. as Special Tax Counsel in connection with the issuance of the Certificates of Obligations; authorizing the City Manager to execute any necessary documents; and providing an effective date. ITEM 4. Conducted interviews with Board and Commission applicants. The following three applicants were interviewed: Jose Hernandez; Jerry Yearout and Sherri Thomas. ITEM 5. Following a discussion, Councilmember Ashmore made a motion to appoint Jerry Yearout to the Planning and Zoning Commission. The motion died due to lack of a second. Mayor Pro Tem Lemond made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Howard, to appoint Jose Hernandez, to the Planning and Zoning, Place 3 with a term expiring in June 2015. A vote was W. Councilmember Chambliss made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Howard, to appoint Sherri Thomas to thel Library Advisory Board, Place 1 with at term expiringi in. June 2015. Terri Ashmore- commented on success of Festival ofl Lights; approximately 1,000 people came through thej park; appreciate all the participants; A Christmas Carol currently being put on by the drama students at the high school and it is outstanding; and another play will be put on in the Tommy Lemond = commented enjoyed the Christmas Tree Lighting; kids singing at the event; Bill Chambliss - commented enjoyed the Christmas Tree Lighting and live reindeer; and glad the spring. and wished everyone a Merry Christmas.
