Hwy 175, Seagoville, Texas with a quorum present, to wit: Dennis Childress Harold Magill Josel Hernandez Rick Howard Mike Fruin Jon Epps Mayor Mayor Pro Tem Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember The following staff members were also present: Attorney Victoria Thomas, Director of Administrative Services Cindy Brown, and City Secretary Kandi Jackson. Invocation - Invocation was led by Councilmember Magill. Pledge of Allegiance - Pledge of4 Allegiance was led by Mayor Childress. Mayor's Report - None. 1. Discuss and consider approving a Resolution of the City of Seagoville, Texas, authorizing continued participation with the Atmos Cities Steering Committee; and authorizing the payment of five cents ($0.05) per capita to the Atmos Cities Steering Committee to fund regulatory and related activities related to Atmos Energy Corporation; and requiring delivery of this Resolution and approved assessment fee tol legal counsel for the steering committee (Director of Administrative Services) Motion to approve a Resolution of the City of Seagoville, Texas, authorizing continued participation with the Atmos Cities Steering Committee; and authorizing the payment of five cents (S0.05) per capita to the Atmos Cities Steering Committee toj fund regulatory and related activities related to Atmos Energy Corporation; and requiring delivery of this Resolution and approved assessment fee to legal counsel for the steering committee Fruin, seconded by Magill; motion passed with all ayes. 5/0 Seagoville City Council Regular Session June 13, 2022 2. Reconvened Into Regular Session at 2:36 p.m. Council will reconvene into open session, and take action, ifany, on matters discussed A. $ 551.074. Personnel, to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal ofaj public officer or employee to wit: Motion to appoint Scott Kurth as Presiding Municipal Court Judge for $25,000.00 per month and the City Attorney to prepare all necessary documents for employment and authorize the City Manager to execute said documents Hernandez, seconded by Magill; motion passed.
