Hwy 175, Seagoville, Texas with a quorum present, to wit: Dennis Childress Jon Epps Jose Hernandez Rick Howard Harold Magill Mike Fruin Mayor Mayor Pro Tem Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember The following staff members were also present: City Manager Patrick Stallings, Police Chief Ray Calverley, Water Utilities Director Phil DeChant, City Attorney Alexis Allen, Finance Director Patrick Harvey, Seagoville Economic Development Director Kirk Clennan, HR Director/Risk Manager Cindy Brown, and City Secretary Kandi Jackson. Mayor's Report - Mayor Childress stated there will be a "Back to School Bash/Car Show' " held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 107 N. Kaufman Street beginning at noon. He stated. Consider approving a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas, authorizing approval of a contract with the Texas Department of Public Safety ("DPS") authorizing the City to purchase supplies necessary for the implementation of the breath testing and laboratory alcohol and drug testing program from DPS at a reduced cost; authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract with Texas Department of Public Safety, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A; and Motion to approve Consent Agenda Items# 1 and #2 - Epps; seconded by Magill, motion providing an effective date (Police Chief) passed with all ayes. Cameron & Associates, Inc. pertaining to the construction of public infrastructure improvements for the development of Highland Meadows III; authorizing the City Manager to sign; and providing an effective date (Water Utilities Director) Motion to approve Resolution of the City of Seagoville, Texas approving a Developer Agreement between the City of Seagoville and D.R. Cameron & Associates, Inc. 4. Conduct the second public hearing to receive input on the proposed annexation of approximately 7,277+ feet in length and 80' in width of the recorded public right- of-way of East Malloy Bridge Road, located in Kaufman County, Texas, beginning at its intersection with the northern boundary line of territorial limits of the City of Seagoville, and running north/northeast to its intersection with the southern boundary line of the territorial limits of the City of Seagoville.
