Hwy 175, Seagoville, Texas with a quorum present, to wit: Dennis Childress Jon Epps Jose Hernandez Rick Howard Harold Magill Mike Fruin Mayor Mayor Pro Tem Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember The following staff members were also present: City Manager Patrick Stallings, Police Chief Ray Calverley, Community Development Director Ladis Barr, City Attorney Alexis Allen, Finance Director Patrick Harvey, Water Utilities Director Phil DeChant, Director of Administrative Services Cindy Brown, and City Secretary Kandi Jackson. Presentation of 3rd Annual Back to School Bash City Manager Stallings stated the Back to School Bash is to help. fund school Community Development Director Barr stated this will be 3rd Annual Back to School Bash. He stated the Back to School Bash Event has grown from the years past. The City of Seagoville will provide barricades to close streets in the downtown area, two (2) port-o-lets with one being handicap and one regular, two (2) sanitizing stations, eight (8) to ten (10) trash cans, and one (1) employee. from the street department to attend the trash cans and barricades. He also stated Staff is requesting direction from Council concerning the event. Councilmember Hernandez stated he supports the Back to School Bash Event if the City is not expected to take ownership. Mr. Chasteen stated he will take ownership of the event. He also stated the main purpose is to provide school supplies for the children to bring positive attention to the downtown ared.
