Gisodle MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL REGULAR SESSION MARCH 16, 2020 The Regular Session of the City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas was called to order at 7:16 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020, at City Hall, 702 N. Hwy 175, Seagoville, Texas with a quorum present, to wit: Dennis Childress Jon Epps Jose Hernandez Rick Howard Harold Magill Mike Fruin Mayor Mayor Pro Tem Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember Councilmember The following staff members were also present: City Manager Patrick Stallings, Police ChiefRay Calverley, Community Development Director Ladis Barr, City Attorney Victoria Thomas, Fire Chief Todd Gilcrease, Health Inspector Jimmy Stephens, Director of Administrative Services Cindy Brown, and City Secretary Kandi Jackson. Discuss and consider nominating a member for Place Six (6) on the STAR Transit City Secrelary.Jackson. stated: STAR Transit currently has a vacancy for Place Six (6) on their Board of Directors as an unexpired term ending August 31, 2022. Under their current ByLaws, the nomination, process is open to the entire service area. STAR Transit is accepting nominations from any official elected to public office in the STAR Transit area, or any identified member of the public who has established residency in the STAR Transit Service Area. If there are nominations from the City of Seagoville, STAR Transit is requesting a nomination to the Board of Directors and an Associate. Alternate. After all ofthej forms have been received by. STAR Transit, the Nominations Committee will review the nominations and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors. Discuss and consider a Resolution of the City of Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas authorizing Anderson Asphalt & Concrete Paving to provide asphalt repair work on Georgia Lane for compensation in an amount not to exceed Eighty Three Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Five Dollars and Forty Cents ($83, 485.40) as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein; authorizing the City Manager to execute any and all necessary documents; and providing an effective date Inz response to a question by Mayor Childress, City Attorney.
